On September 3rd, ZZ Top took over the Suburban Park Stage at the New York State Fair, and judging by the massive turnout, a whole lot of people were ready to rock. Celebrating 50 years of ZZ Top, the band sounded absolutely amazing and proved that after five decades, they’re still doing exactly what they do best.
From “Got Me Under Pressure” and “Gimme All Your Lovin’” to “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Legs,” the set was packed with so many of ther hits. And, of course, there was no missing the ZZ Top look. The sparkly suits, giant guitars and colorful backdrop added even more personality to their larger-than-life performance. Seeing this legendary band still out there doing their thing, and sounding this good while doing it, was pretty damn cool.
