The night was filled with fiery energy and intense metal music on May, 25th as Otep took the stage in Jordan, NY for their first North American headline tour in three years. Otep’s “Sermons Of Fire Tour” included the talented metal band September Mourning as direct support, the concert was filled with memorable moments and was an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.

Kicking off the evening, September Mourning delivered a unique and captivating performance. There are elements of their stage presence that is like In This Moment, yet they are very different musically. Led by the enigmatic lead vocalist Emily Lazar, the band’s vibe was both haunting and theatrical, blending seamlessly with their transmedia dark culture project. Lazar is a pioneer with her creation of a character that extends beyond their music because it creates an immersive experience for the band’s audience.

It was evident that September Mourning had a strong fan base at this show, as their fans were out in full force and eagerly engaged with the band.
