Halestorm Rocks St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview

Halestorm returned to the stage with a vengeance, bringing their latest tour to the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse. Joined by The Pretty Reckless, The Warning, and Lilith Czar, the night was a true celebration of female musicians.

Kicking off the show was Lilith Czar, aka Juliette Simms, whose short set was full of songs from her latest album, Created From Filth and Dust. The Warning followed with their high-energy presence and performed most of the songs from their latest album ERROR, including the popular hit “Choke.” The four-piece band The Pretty Reckless took the stage next and rocked the amphitheater with covers and songs such as “Make Me Wanna Die” and “Take Me Down.”

Halestorm started their headlining set with their new single, “Back From The Dead,” and drummer Arejay Hale dominated the stage from atop a huge staircase. The band was at the top of their game, and members Lzzy Hale, Joe Hottinger, Josh Smith, and Arejay Hale put on an invigorating performance. Their setlist included fan favorites, such as Arejay’s “big drumstick” solo and Lzzy’s piano solo, as well as songs from their latest album, Back From The Dead.

The night ended on an epic note with an encore of “Here’s To Us,” “Mz. Hyde,” and “Steeple.” It was a night of unforgettable rock music that made the concert-goers and fans feel like themselves again.

Halestorm is currently on tour with the Pretty Reckless, The Warning, and Lilith Czar through the end of the week and will be back on the road with Evanescence this November. They recently released their new single “Back From The Dead” with a cinematic video to boot.
