On the final day of the New York State Fair in 2023, the iconic English rock band Foghat graced the Chevy Court Stage, delivering an unforgettable performance. With a career, rich with history that spanning over five decades, Foghat’s enduring appeal was evident as they wowed the crowd with their signature bluesy and groovy classic rock sound.

The band, renowned for their ’70s chart-toppers such as “Slow Ride” and “I Just Want to Make Love to You,” wasted no time revving up their performance with the timeless classic “Fool for the City.” Instantly, this set an electrifying atmosphere that catapulted the audience back in time to the pinnacle of classic rock’s golden era.

Foghat’s lineup has seen many changes over the years, but one constant has been original drummer and founding member Roger Earl. His steady presence, along with the exceptional talents of the current incarnation of the band, proved that Foghat’s musical legacy remains as strong as ever.

Throughout their performance, Foghat showcased their classic use of electric slide guitars, a defining element of their sound.
